Thursday
 Wasn't feeling good. Felt nauseous most of the  morning. Then went for my 3rd Network chiro appointment. I have another 3 appointments next week. I haven't cracked my neck since Tuesday other then the nauseousness I've been feeling good.

Didn't work out due to not feeling good. But we did take the girls out for a walk about 10pm (it was Colin's idea to get out of the house)

Day 20

Sept 14 2010

Today i had my second network chiro appointment, I felt better today she told me to focus on a light coming out of my head, basically yesterday she got the energy going but i bottle capped it in my head yesterday and wouldn't let it go, so so far today no headache my neck is a little sore, feet feel great. Next appointment is Thursday.

We had fast visit with Grandpa today. He wasn't feeling good i worry about him lots these day.

Me and Zoe went for a 1.5 mile walk it sure was nice out today for a fall day.

Tonight me and colin went shopping for a baby shower gift, he couldn't find anything that he really liked to now tomorrow we have to go to the mall to look. Its exciting looking at all the baby stuff. can't wait till its my turn.

Day 19-

Today i had my 1st network chiropractic appointment. I loved it. I didn't get cracked and it was just soft touch. If anyone has had any energy work done its kinda like that. Anyways my left side of my back is tight and i didn't even know but i wasn't surprised because of playing my wii fit my balance is off so yeah i knew. also my neck, hips and feet. well my back felt different today not sure how else to say it. I wasn't hurting and my exercise today went well also. All thought I've had a headache most of the day and my jaw hurts. I didn't wear my orthotics at all today and me feet still don't hurt.
I have another appointment tomorrow hopefully my headache will go away. I haven't force cracked any part of my body since after the appointment.

I completed my chest and back CD and ab ripper from p90x.

Finished reading Touching Evil by Kay Hooper. Wasn't one of my favorite books by her the first 3 were a lot better.

Starting to read Whisper of Evil

Two days into one entry

Day 17
Saturday Sept 11, 2010

I had a surprise visit from my Aunt and cousin today, which i haven't seen since December. It was weird cause I've had my aunt on my mind lately. But was nice to see them.

Today i did my kenpo x CD. It took a lot out of me today my right shoulder was a little sore. Also played Grease on the wii today for an hour. Its more of a balance game, and i also did a fast body test on the Wii Fit. Lost a little bit of weight nothing to be totally excited about and my wii age today was 26. which is how old i am. Me and Colin also took the girls (Annabelle & Zoe) for a little walk. Annabelle still can't walk to far. She had knee surgery not to long ago and is still healing. WE still have to do the other knee but it might have to wait till spring.

Day 16
Friday Sept 10.

Yesterday I replanted my jalapeno plant so i could grow it inside through the winter. My plant is now inside and i still have lots of peppers growing along with blooms still on it. I should have fresh peppers for a while yet. (will post a pic Sunday of the plant)

I did my Back & Biceps CD along with the ab ripper CD.

Today i had a friend tell me that it looks like I've lost weight in my face and it wasn't all that long ago that i had seen this friend. So apparently my work outs are helping.

Day 15 another positive Day

Thursday
Work up and completed my kenpo x cd which was almost an hour then did my ab ripper cd another 15 mins. My whole body seemed to crack today not sure why but it was weird.
Felt great the whole day but now in the evening starting to get sore and tight.

So my mother in law (boy does it feel weird saying that and typing it it ) but anyways told me about Network Chiropractic.

Day 14 Off to a good start

Wednesday and i'm feeling better today. i slept good besides waking up to my husband having bad dreams but only woke up once. Which was nice for a change. 1st thing i did after feeding the girls there food was i headed into my work out room and  completed my p90x shoulder and arm cd. I'm starting to increase my weights on some exercise others just increasing reps. Boy does this feel good again. I never seem to know why i ever stop i normally feel great doing this.

For those of u that know i love grease the movie. Colin bought me a game for my wii its Grease. Its not the greatest game but i had fun I played for almost 2 hours.

Day 13- moody, crampy and bitchy

Monday

Still sleeping like crap. I've washed all the bedding make the dogs sleep in there own beds. I had my pillow and my blankie and still a horrible night. Not sure what else to do. Tonight the Lavender spray is coming out. Hopefully that will work.

Today we bought a Coffee machine that can make espressos, café style cappuccinos and lattes, hot chocolate and tea for the bar i can't wait to open it up and try it.

I completed my shoulders and back cd. Happy i did it. I'm shakey and going for a bath.

breakfest was a apple muffin.
lunch was hot spicy noodle soup
supper is pock chops and french green beans with pototoes

Gonna lay in bed with a heating pad and finish my book tonight.

Day 12

Words from a friend

It's Monday with another opportunity to get healthier than we were yesterday. Perhaps you struggled last week with being motivated to workout. Perhaps you ate things that you know were not good for you. It's ok! Don't beat yourself up or thing all is lost what's the point I've failed. They say Albert Einsteen failed math too. They actually called him stupid. Imagine that but he never gave up because he knew he did not fail. I know that when I attempt projects at home that I have never done before I usually make mistakes. The next time around when I attempt the same project I know how to avoid those mistakes. Take your falls as learning experiences and pick yourself up. You deserve your very best. There are going to be days where you are tired and don't feel like working out and that's ok take a rest day or do really light workout that day. My whole point is eating an unhealthy food , doing a light workout or none at all for a day is not failure. Use it as a learning tool. The great thing about the sunrise is that you get to start all over. We can do this so lets get healthy together!

Day 11

Sunday.
Along weekend but it feels just like a normal day. The weather is great couldn't ask for more since we won't have to many more days like today.  We went to a store like Costco, to look at prices of things for the bar and to see what we could get where. And for the life of me i can't remember the name of the place.  Anyways with doing this i finished my food menu and price's for the bar. Now i just have to complete the Drink menu which i have started already but don't feel like doing.

Me and Zoe went for a 1 mile walk along with stopping off at the park and letting her chase me. She's starting to be good off leash as long as no other dogs are near. Also in the evening me, colin and zoe took a small walk to 7-11.

THe plan is that tomorrow my Work out room should be put back together. IN the spring we had a leak in the wall, now everything is fixed and the insulation and dry wall can go back up. Then i get to paint the room again. I wish i didn't paint it before but things happen. THis is part of the reason why i haven't done my work out the past 2 days, The carpet is out of the room and everything is every where. This evening i will be back in my room.

Day 10 short n sweet

Treat Of the Day
Well i haven't been in the greatest moods these past day. which has kinda resulted in me not doing much. I took Zoe for a 1.5 mile walk half the distance we normally do. Then decided to sit in the sun and read today i started reading Out of Shadows by Kay Hooper. so far i have really enjoyed her books. This is the 3rd book within the week.

My work for the day consisted of working on the food menu and getting prices for the bar. Things are finally starting to come together. I can't wait for an exact opening Date. Mean while lots to do in the mean time.

Day 9 -

Friday.

Started the day off with a bowl of cereal and headed out the door with Zoe for a 3 mile walk. It was a little chilly but nice to get out of the house.  Later in the day I completed my p90x back and biceps work out. This work out seemed to take a lot out of me today. I'm still sore but keeping my head up that it will get better soon.

Also today I desided since its getting cold out that it was time to start cleaning up my garden. I pulled out tomatoe plants some cumber plants. And thought it was time to dig up some carrots. well to my surprise lol what i grew.  Isn't it huge. lol. Well i do have to say that my tomatoes and peppers turned out really good, unlike some things i planted. Can't wait to replant next year.

Day 8 - Its been a week

Thursday, calling for another day of rain. I need the sun. I miss it, I want it.

Short and to the point today. I completed my p90x core synergistics cd. Made home made Onion soup, and wings for supper.

Tonights movie was Mamma Mia (2008)- Starring Amanda Seyfried, Stellan SkarsgĂĄrd, Pierce Brosnan. The story of a bride-to-be trying to find her real father told using hit songs by the popular '70s group ABBA.
Well my husband told me that i'm just like Donna (the mom played by Meryl Streep) STill not sure if this is a good thing or not. I think the mom is fun and crazy. She makes me laugh through out the movie.

I also read half of my book yesterday- Hiding in shadows.

Day 7 -

Wednesday

Slept horrible last night the dogs kept waking me up until i finally gave in and let them climb into bed with us. Then i managed to sleep in 10. which we were supposed to be out the door already. So it was a fast breakfast and out the door. Heading for downtown to look for glasses. While walking around. We happened to see my mom, she was walking on the other side of the street she totally saw me. I was gonna wave but she put her head down started swinging her umbrella fast and looked in the other direction. Totally pretending she didn't see me. Its nice to know that she really doesn't want me in her life. Like how hard is it just to wave it wasn't like we were gonna stop and talk. I'm normally fine with the fact that i don't see or talk to my brother or mom. Until things like this happens. I haven't done anything wrong for things to be like this. I guess the good thing is I married into a family that love me.  That's gotta count for something.

Anyways..... Shopping downtown was a total waste of time, they used to have really neat places but not anymore. Finally after going to Transcona. He gave in and said lets just go to st.vital mall and get the 2 pair i liked there. Finally an end to the madness. lol. The glasses are ordered and will be picked up in 1 week.

Once home. Colin fixed the mini and we headed to his parents to drop off the PT Cruiser. The final outing for the day. Got home and it was time to work out.  I popped in my Shoulder and Arm Cd from P90x. The hour work out felt great, and I'm still sore and gonna be sore for a while yet. But that's a good thing means I'm going something. Oh also while out i wore my shape up runners. I really love them, I'm gonna have to buy another pair soon.

Day 6 - undecided

Tuesday August 31 has been a long day.

My feet hurt, my eyes hurt and well most of my body hurts from working out these past days.

Today i did not get the chance to do my work out. Got up at 9am with intentions of going to Colin's eye appointment with him and then to grey hound to pick up the new starter for the car. Sounds all good so far right well once we get to grey hound at the airport now, they can't find the package, they say it must be on the next bus it should be here by 12 30. Then we tell them that it was dropped off at the Brandon bus depot last night at 9pm and it should be here. They continue to say next bus. so we decide its off to look at eye glasses for Colin. WE went every where from polo park area to st.vital. All though we have 2 pairs picked out he's not sold yet. He wants to make sure he loves them. So my eye glass shopping still isn't over and it will continue tomorrow. I've been told we are heading downtown tomorrow. Shopping isn't as fun when your not buying for your self. So its not 5pm and back to the airport. Once again its not there, the next bus will be here in 30 Min's. So now I'm sore tired and getting mad.  Finally at 530 they say it still hasn't arrived and we don't have a system to say if its been shipped or not. Finally someone else over hears what the box looks like and goes looking for it. Apparently the Bill came off of the box and was put to the side. IT was there all day. Our # was even on the box to call us when it got there. was so mad.

The only good part of today was.....

We have our final deal on the Bar. Hopefully within the next week or two or month at the latest we will be in and doing Reno's. So much to plan and buy. Halloween will be awesome this year.

Can't wait to be back working and working for our self's.

After a late supper with Colin's parents. I'm finally home and ready to have a warm bath and read. Looks like tomorrow i will have to make up for my non exercise day. Oh but i did buy a blue resistance band. It was time to move up to a hard band. I've been looking every where and couldn't find any. Finally today i found some at Winners, they have a new workout section in there stores now.

Well wish me luck with shopping with the husband tomorrow.  I told him by the end of tomorrow he has to pick. No more shopping after that. lol

Day 5 - Feeling the pain


A start to a new week besides the rain it hasn't been a bad day. I wasn't as sore as yesterday. But i still started the day off with a bath to soak my muscles before starting to exercise.So it was time to pop in the Chest & back CD. A full 53 min work out. I have to say i still can't do Dive-Bomber push ups or or the Declined push-ups. Hopefully in the coming weeks that will change. I've keep my old work out sheets from the last time i started this and the good thing is that I'm lifting about the same weight as when i stopped. Except I've gotten bought a couple more weights, so i don't have to do as many reps. I wanna build muscle instead of toning.  Today i basically used the 7lb and 15lbs along with the plastic bands cause i don't own a chin up bar. And Monday's also consist of the Ab Ripper CD. Today i could feel every exercise on the CD. i had to take more breaks then normal, but i did complete the CD.

Tonight i also decided to turn on the wii. I played wii fit for 35 Min's. I did the free step for 20 Min's and did 2409 steps.

Food wasn't the best of choices today egg omelet with pepper and toast for breakfast. Supper was hot wings. my snack  for the evening was yogurt with granola and fruit. We also went shopping tonight in the rain so my food choices for the next week should be better.

I also decided that i was setting a goal. To loose 5 lbs by October 30th.

Day 4 - A Lazy Sunday

Today wasn't a very productive day. I did manage to get up and do my Stretch X CD from P90X. considering how sore i am, i thought something to help make me less tight would be good. Stretch X isn't one of my favorite Cd's to do. I find it kinda slow. I enjoy more of the up beat Cd's, but it helps with flexibility so why not. I felt great after the work out nice and warm and ready to do stuff but what do i decided to do instead, climb back into bed under the warm blankets. Who could resist not climbing back into bed with the dogs cuddling you. Really the rest of the day was history. watched 2 movies layed in bed and read a book. Hopefully tomorrow i won't be as sore.

On the food front today was also not a good day. snacks consisted of 1 can of 7-up, home done popcorn with butter, tootsie rolls and a hand full of chip

Anyone know of a good Dr. to get Laser Tattoo removal done? Don't worry not for me I love all my tattoo's

Day 3 Saturday off to the race's

Saturday moring seemed to be a crappy day. I started the day of by doing my 15 min ab ripper cd from P90X. Boy did i feel a burn gonna be sore tomorrow. Gotta love it. After the quick exercise we were off to Gimli Dragway for the afternoon. It was chilly out but i had fun pumping up and down at the race's. I can be such a little kid at times lol. Saw a couple sin outs and got real close to the track. I should have took pictures to post but left it in the car. Hopefully next year the mini will be up and running and we can take it out on the track. Its gonna be so exciting. Once we were back home from Gimli i was back into my workout room.  I completed my Kenpo cd. Kenpo X is 58 minutes of non-stop moving, punching, kicking, chopping, changing directions, jumping around, burning calories like crazy and before you know it your done, dripping with sweat. Your also learning some self defense moves. I really enjoy doing this cd. And boy am i gonna be sore tomorrow.

Today i also had the time to make that home made apple pie turned out pretty good. I only had a small piece.

Day 2

Today started out to early. Once i finished my running around and planned out a new longer route for walks . Me and Zoe where out for our hour walk. I forgot the water bottle, good thing theres a water fountain on the way to the park. I knew I live close to assiniboine park but driving always seems closer then walking it turns out a round trip is only 3 miles. I'm now looking forward to more walks to the park, I think Zoe will enjoy it also.
After trying to tie up some design decisions for the new business. I figure its hot out the sun is shinning so into my swim suit to tan for a bit. Turned into 3 hours but i also got to exercise my mind by reading.
Tonight i attemped to take my bike out for a ride. I took it out got half way down the back lane and noticed i had a flat front tire so back home i went. This really put me down, even though my knee was hurting. Colin should be able to help me pump it up tomorrow. My exercise got cut short but i still did something to sweat.

We watched "The Backup Plan" i really enjoyed it wasn't the best movie ever but was funny.

Today there was no pop but 1 can of wheat beer. If it helps any it was hot out side who cant resist a cold beer on a hot day and if it helps any i didn't like it.

The Pie for my husband didn't get made  but the kitchen in now clean so tomorrow i can make it providing we don't head out to the Gimli motor sport park. The mini isn't working so not sure if we are heading out.

Day 1

So today I desided that it was the day to start blogging my enteries. Since I`m not working and have lots of free time on my hands i figured what a great idea so After and hour on the computer trying to figure this out It was time to head out into the sun. With Zoe by my side we headed out for a walk. Once we hit Wellington Cres. the nice enjoyable walk stopped and i had to pull zoe almost a block she was to interested in the guys planting new tree's. Once past Wellington we were back to our fast paced
walk Which was 2.51 miles we also cut off 10 mins off our time. I have been trying to do an hour walk with Zoe but it hasn`t seemed to work. Gotta plan out a new longer route for us. The good news for today is that i even got out for a second walk of the day. It was much shorter at 1.4 miles. I`ve also desided that as of today and for three days a week i`ll be doing my Ab Ripper-X cd from my p90x routine. With monday being a new week I will also be starting the regular 1 hr. 6 days a week work out from P90X. (which i love) Maybe 3rd times a charm and i`ll finish the whole 3 month work out this time.


Glad to say that today i managed to stay away from pop. Drinks of the day contained Ice Water and a fruit juice.

An over all good day. 

Tomorrow plan of the day is to make my husband an home made apple pie (which i have never done) and to take my bike out. I bought a bike at the beginning of summer and needless to say i have only taken it out twice and i kinda promised i would ride daily through out the summer.

Getting Started

So I've been thinking about starting a blog, ever since one of my friends started doing his own. I love the fact i can track my daily exericise and have my fellow friends leave comments. I have been writting a daily journal entery but not the same when i get off track, no one see's my failures but me. So hopefully my friends will give there input, which will help keep me stay on track and improve my life.

So today is Day 1. I've been on the computer long enough trying to figure out this whole blog thing. It's calling for a nice warm day, better get started.
